With my head out the window I gave a tremendous cough that I had meant to be a shout. On the second try I weakly succeeded, but still recieved no answer. Another great sound thumped upon the roof and this time the entire ewer case fell, sending a wave of porcelain and handles across the floor. I leapt onto the halfcounter, half from shock and half to avoid the shards that had slid toward me. Hours passed without event. Unable to construct any alternative option, I fired one shot of pitch and one of shotfire, hollered out the window, very deliberately, that I certainly was glad that I wouldn't need to tend to the lawn from now on, stepped down from my precipice and began to mix breakfast.
